Customer Testimonials Jerry Diplock Profile Jerry has worked for over 20 years in the field of food and occupational safety, both in private industry and enforcement. His last role was for six years as Principal Environmental Health Officer at a Devon local authority, where he had responsibility for service delivery in all aspects of safety, food hygiene and infection control enforcement. He still provides regular support and still provides inspection and enforcement services in both food hygiene and occupational safety. He has wide experience in a diverse range of food manufacturing industries, retail, catering & hospitality sectors and has been an accredited trainer since 1991 and has a C&G 7407 in adult education. Similarly, in the field of safety he has specialised in the care, service, hospitality and leisure & tourism sectors. He has been providing training in health and safety since 1988. Jerry has experience in the field of health promotion and has extensive experience in working with other professionals to deliver health initiatives. He has experience of giving evidence for both criminal and civil Courts and has experience in prosecutions in food and occupational safety. He was involved in assisting with formulating inspection and compliance policies within the South West area, serving on regional groups involving representatives from a wide range of organisations, such as the Health and Safety Executive, Health Protection Agency and Primary Care Trusts. Since 2005, Diplock Safety & Hygiene has developed as a leading provider of support and training services in South Devon and clients include local authorities (enforcement and corporate training provision), food manufacturers (in the dairy, meat, fishery products, drinks and ready meals sectors), colleges (NEBOSH accredited tutor for Diploma and certificate level occupational safety training), hotels and leisure providers, charities, engineering and care providers.
